We are now a couple weeks into our 3rd trimester (it's going SO fast) and I am definitely noticing a change in my body/daily functions, haha! I am feeling a little more tired (similar to my 1st trimester) and it is A LOT harder to do many activities, even the simplest of things (like tying my shoes, picking up something off the floor, putting away dishes in the higher cabinets, getting laundry in/out of the washer & dryer, using the restroom - yes - LOL, and putting on clothes!)
I am also tackling the wonderful effects of allergies and acid reflux - NOT fun!!! I can't breath, constantly sneezing, watery eyes, and a burning throat...ugh. I have also been feeling quite down about my weight lately - I know it is all for a good cause and it is totally normal to gain weight when pregnant, but I am struggling with the feelings of my body changing. I hope my recovery and weight loss is a steady, farely easy process!!! :/
I have also been trying to find new things to do around the house during the day to avoid going out in the heat as much as possible. I balloon up all over pretty quickly after being outside for an extended period of time, which is lovely, haha! Oh the little joys of bodily changes during pregnancy... :) I've definitely begun the nesting process since I am cooped up inside all day...I have organized all closets in the house (a couple times), cleaned and organized the pantry & kitchen cabinets, vaccuumed practically every other day, and on and on...I am feeling a little OCD these days, haha!
Besides the little things, I honestly cannot complain... My pregnancy has been pretty darn smooth and quite enjoyable! I still cannot believe that I have such a little miracle growing inside of ME! It is so amazing....and I truly know all these changes are for the best! :) I feel so blessed to have the support of close family and friends to help me through all these new adventures that accompany parenthood. THANK YOU ALL!
We had our 30 week check up this morning. Baby boy is measuring right on track and has a steady heartbeat of 141 bpm. From this point on, we will be going into the doctor every 2 weeks for our check-ups and at our next appt (32 weeks) we will get one more sneak peak at our little man....we are hoping he will cooperate and we will get a good face picture!!! Fingers crossed...

We have been busy this month with reorganzing the house for our little one's arrival. We completely rearranged a couple rooms to accomodate his nursery. It feels SO good to have everything moved and settled into its new place in our home. Once everything was moved, we started on the nursery!! Here are some before and after pictures of the nursery so far...more picture to come as I finish w/ decorations :)
