Mix of Emotions

So, here it is, November 4th and no sign of baby making his entrance into the world today....yet!! I know that only about 5% of women actually deliver ON there given due date, so it's not anything uncommon. However, I have still had this ONE day in my mind from the beginning and I have been sooooooo excited for it to arrive (it has gone by so fast), because I knew that meant meeting my precious son!

Let the waiting game continue....

Stephen is staying home with me today, as I have been kind of an emotional reck the last few days. I have seriously been a rollercoaster of mixed emotions, hah! Everyone will tell you and every book and magazine says pregnancy hormones make you moody and emotional. And, although I have had my moments (haha), I thought I haven't had much of an emotional rollercoaster throughout my pregnancy. It has been pretty smooth sailing.... Until this last approaching week or so. :-/ I have just been filled with SO much anticipation, excitement, joy, and also anxiety of the unknown! I have gone from feeling very happy, then sad, sometimes low/angry (because things aren't progressing much, and it makes me frustrated).

All these emotions, all at once, have been quite hard for me to take in. Stephen was my shoulder to cry on last night, as I just had a breakdown and the tears kept flowing. Bless is heart for just listening to me vent and blubber, even though he knows, and I know, there isn't much he can do besides just love me and be there. He means the world to me, and so does our baby boy - who I can't wait to snuggle and love!

Well, this morning has started off VERY nicely. I got to sleep in with Stephen for the 1st time in weeks, which was a wonderful thing to wake up to! He has been a busy working man AND a busy hunter & fisherman lately. So any days & weekends he has had off - he still gets up early to go play in the woods or water, haha! That's my outdoorsman!

Now, I am off to my massage this morning, in hopes that my masseuse will work her magic on some key areas to help get the ball rolling. :) Fingers crossed....

Happy Fall Friday Everyone!
