Family 4th

This year for the 4th, we went down to Howard Amon Park on the Columbia River for the day and enjoyed a family picnic. LOTS of other families/groups had the same idea and were claiming their spots for the firework show on the river, so we enjoyed people watching too.

On our way home from our picnic, we decided to stop by Target. And while we were there... picked up Bradleigh his 1st pool! I had been looking around for a pool for B to play in, but didn't want to spend a fortune on something the dogs will most likely ruin at some point! :/ We got lucky during our Target shopping trip and found this mini plastic pool on clearance for $6.50 - bargain deal and the perfect size for B!!

SO much fun! 

We ended the evening watching the fireworks @ GESA Stadium (right down the street from our house). We drove down the street and parked in a near by field to watch the firework show at the Stadium. We had the PERFECT seats, because we also got a nice view of the firework display from the barge on the river too.

B was all bundled up in his PJ's and a blanket as we sat in the car waiting for the show to begin. We tried our darnest to keep him up for his 1st fireworks, but it was wayyyy past his bed time. He fell asleep right as the fireworks started...oh well! There are many more 4th's to come. :)
